High speed coppering lines with coppering vessel showing multigroove capstans with horizontal axes (for wire with small diameter, as, for example, MIG welding wire)

High speed coppering lines with coppering vessel showing multigroove capstans with vertical capstans (for wire with medium diameter)

Straight coppering lines (for big diameter wire) for example, for Subarc welding wire, for an industrial semi-processed good

Straight coppering lines

The straight lines, it is to say, the lines with a coppering vessel with a straight wire path and without multigroove capstans, are used to copper wire of big diameters. The technological positions are equivalent to those of the lines with coppering multigroove capstans, but the coppering vessel is much longer. The construction of the coppering vessel is engineered in accordance with Customer’s product range, to give him the greatest possible flexibility in obtaining different values of plating thickness. A typical example of a product, manufactured on these lines, is the Subarc welding wire. Yet, coppered wire or rode is also required as semi-processed material, which will undergo a further processing (mechanical deforming, bending, etc.).
